Lewis also wrote several fictional novels that display the themes of mankind’s sin and need for divine grace, including the Space Trilogy (of which Out of the Silent Planet is the first book) and his most famous works, the seven Chronicles of Narnia novels for children. Many of these essays and broadcasts were anthologized in Lewis’s most famous non-fiction work, Mere Christianity.
